Booking Terms and Conditions – updated 01/01/2020 Deposits paid by tour participant indicate acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions with Lebanon Tours and Travel
To Secure Your Booking To secure your booking, you must inform Lebanon Tours and Travel of your request. A company representative will contact you to discuss and finalize the arrangements and send you an itinerary for final confirmation. You must confirm these details and pay the deposit, as discussed in your details; to Lebanon Tours and Travel by wire transfer or credit / debit card via our secure website (Visa and MasterCard, both are accepted).
Amendments by You Any changes made to the original booking are subject to availability. If the full payment has been received and/or a voucher has been issued, no administrative fees will be applied.
Payment/Booking Policy We are offering a down payment of 50% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, airport transfers, tours and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, therefore, your booking will be a risk-free investment.
Cancellation Policy (Excluding Peak Period) Cancellation requests should be emailed to provide the company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled. In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:
From the date of booking until 15 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 7 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Less than 6 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Force Majeure: Lebanon Tours and Travel offers a very flexible cancellation policy in case the government or the airline issues a travel warning from/to your departure country and/or your destination. In the event of this happening, we will be refunding you the amount paid for the tour package or in some cases your payment will be available as future travel credit and travel voucher that can be used towards any of the destinations we operate tours in. You have the flexibility to apply this amount towards new travel services booked within 12 months. Reservations will be adjusted to reflect these travel credits automatically. Here at Lebanon Tours and Travel, we prioritize your well-being and safety above all else and for that reason, we have adapted our cancellation policy to reflect our values. Cancellation for Christmas, New Year and Easter Vacation: In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:
From the date of booking until 31 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 15 and 30 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Less than 14 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Privacy Policy Depending on the circumstances, Lebanon Tours and Travel may collect personal information when you register for a service or book a trip with us, including some or all of the following; email, name, address, IP address and telephone number. This privacy policy sets out how Lebanon Tours and Travel uses and protects any information that you give Lebanon Tours and Travel when you use this website. Lebanon Tours and Travel is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Lebanon Tours and Travel may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. We may collect the following information:
Contact information including email address, name and job title
Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers
We require these information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
Internal record keeping.
We may use the information to improve our products and services.
We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information, which we think you may find interesting using the email address, which you have provided.
Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect most changes will be minor. Regardless, we will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including for certain services and email notification of Privacy Policy changes). We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard. From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email or phone. We may use the information to customize the website according to your interests. You may request details of personal information, which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to us. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
Refunds
A refund will normally be made to the same account and using the same method which was used for the original payment. No refunds are possible in the event of a no show for an existing reservation.
Refunds will be done only through the original mode of payment.
Accommodation Unless otherwise stated, prices are based on two persons sharing a room (twin sharing). Rooms for single occupants are available with an additional supplementary rate. Hotels and lodges are named as an indication of quality and rooms may be reserved at an establishment of similar quality. Published prices are inclusive of tariffs and other costs at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice.
Responsibility The company acts only as an agent for the participants in regard to travel, whether by rail road, boat, aircraft, or any other mode of transport, and assume no liability for injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity to person or property resulting directly or indirectly from any of the following causes: weather, acts of God, force majeure, acts of government or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, labor disputes, riots, theft, mechanical breakdowns, quarantines or acts of default, delays, cancellations or changes made by any hotel, carrier, or restaurant. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expenses.
Special Requests If the client has any special requests, he should inform the company at the time of booking. The company and its suppliers will try to satisfy such requests, but, as these do not form part of the contract, the company does not guarantee to do so, including for pre-bookable seats. If the company confirms that a special request has been noted or passed on to the supplier or refers to it on the confirmation invoice or elsewhere, this is not a guarantee to fulfill it. The client will not be specifically notified if a special request cannot be met. The company does not accept bookings, which are conditional on the fulfillment of any special request.
Tipping Tipping is customary for expressing one’s satisfaction with good services rendered to him by staff on duty with him. We advise you to tip, as you are willing. This will be greatly appreciated by staff, but you are not obligated to do so.
Complaints If you have any complaints while you are in the destination, please notify the company (Lebanon Tours and Travel) immediately because most problems can be solved quickly. If you feel that your problem persists, call the Customer Care Manager while you are still on your tour; after you return home, if you are still not satisfied with the service you received you must write to the Customer Care Management.
Acceptance of the Agreement The contract constituted by the company's acceptance of the client's booking, subject to these booking conditions, shall constitute the entire agreement between the client and the company. The payment of a deposit or final payment by bank transfer or credit card indicates that tour participants have read and accepted all terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.
